About Me
I first qualified and registered with the GHR as a hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner in 2011 and later an EMDR therapist with LSCCH.
I have completed the Adult ADHD + Training Programme with leading consultant psychiatrist Dr James Kustow at the Grove Practice in London further developing my specialist understanding of adult ADHD and its impact on emotional regulation, relationships, motivation, executive function and everyday life.
Like many therapists, my path into this work was shaped by personal experience. During a demanding period in my life, I experienced anxiety and overwhelm that left me feeling depleted and unsure how to move forward. Seeking therapeutic support was a turning point, helping me reconnect with steadiness, clarity and inner resources that had felt out of reach.
That experience, alongside my professional training deepened my understanding of how powerful the right support can be when life feels unsustainable and ultimately led me to commit fully to this work.
I also wanted to offer something even deeper for clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, or distressing memories. That’s when I discovered EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).
I trained and qualified in EMDR because I saw how powerfully it helps people process unresolved emotions, shift long-held patterns and find freedom from the past without needing to relive every detail.
Now, I offer both hypnotherapy and EMDR in a compassionate, supportive space here in Surlingham. I often integrate both approaches, depending on what’s best for you. Whether we work with the subconscious mind through trance or with EMDR’s structured healing pathways, you’ll always be supported to feel safe, seen, and empowered.
